November 1 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) went down by 0.11% to 583.28 points on Monday, dragged down by a 2.70% drop in the shares of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], bourse data showed.
As many as 6,200 shares in Eurohold traded at an average price of 2.0735 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse on Monday.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, fell 0.34% to 134.38 points, while the BGTR30 index in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight declined by 0.46% to 652.27 points.
A 9.82% decrease in the shares of FairPlay Properties REIT [BUL:FPP] weighed on the BGBX40 index. The BGTR30 was negatively affected mostly by express delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] which saw its shares erase 5.26% of their price on Monday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.07% higher on Monday due to a 0.37% rise in the shares of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
Total turnover on the bourse's main market increased to 1.3 million levs ($770,200/664,700 euro) on Monday from 714,098 levs on Friday.
The most traded company on Monday was IoT products developer Allterco [BUL:A4L]. A total of 19,500 shares in Allterco changed hands 3.55% higher at an average price of 19.9232 levs, contributing some 388,500 levs to the daily turnover.
