November 21 (SeeNews) - Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] said on Friday its consolidated net profit soared 77% to 21.8 million euro ($27.2 million) in the first nine months of 2014 on an 11% increase in operating revenues to 119.4 million euro.
The company's operating profit rose 82% to 26.3 million euro in the review period, Luka Koper said in a consolidated financial report filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Investments in real-estate, plants and equipment as well as in intangible assets totalled 23.8 million euro through September, up from 10.4 million euro a year ago.
Luka Koper's total cargo throughout rose by 3.0% to 13.9 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2014.
