March 10 (SeeNews) - Slovenian logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] recorded a consolidated net profit of 6.7 million euro ($7.1 million) in 2022, down 23%, it said.
Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) totalled 15.1 million euro in 2022, up 9%, Intereuropa said in an annual financial report on Thursday.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to 8.2 million euro, an increase of 12% relative to the previous year, while sales revenue went up to 200.4 million euro from 176.7 million euro.
"The year 2022 was characterised by significantly increased uncertainty in the international environment in connection with the war in Ukraine, tightening conditions on the energy markets and rising prices. Nevertheless, the Intereuropa Group was successful during the 2022 financial year, as it generated the highest operating profit (EBIT) in the last ten years," it noted.
The group’s net debt amounted to 42.5 million euro at the end of 2022, up from 35.8 million euro relative to December 2021.
