November 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator went down by a monthly 2 percentage points (pps) in November, after decreasing by 4 pps in the preceding month, the country's statistical office said.
In annual terms, consumer confidence was up by 7 pps in November, the statistical office said in a statement on Tuesday.
The monthly decrease in the confidence indicator resulted mainly from more pessimistic consumer expectations about the country’s economy (down 9 pps), and about households’ finances (down 1 pps). On the other hand, expectations about major purchases slightly improved (up 1 pp), while the indicator of consumer opinion on current households’ finances retained the level of the previous month.
All four components of the consumer confidence indicator improved at the annual level, with expectations about the country’s economy rising by 12 pps, about major purchases growing by 6 pps, about current households’ finances increasing by 4 pps, and about households’ finances going up 4 pps.
