October 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices lost further ground on Tuesday, while turnover rose, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index retreated 1.05% to 1,101.91 points and the broader SBI20 index lost 0.60% to 4,550.10 points.
On Monday, the SBITOP fell 1.21% and the SBI20 shed 1.21%.
Six of the seven LJSE blue chips ended lower, only the shares of Slovenia’s largest retailer Mercator went up 0.34%, closing at an average price of 179.50 euro ($268).
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav led the decliners, ending 2.20% lower at 28.39 euro.
Blue chip Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor was the most traded stoch by volume on Tuesday with 36,014 shares changing hands. The bank's shares lost 0.34% to 14.66 euro.
LJSE's total turnover rose to 3.545 million euro from 2.457 million euro on Monday.
