LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 6 (SeeNews) – The Slovenian stock indices extended losses in lower volumes on Monday, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index of the LJSE fell 1.09% to 1,020.73 points and the broader SBI20 index went down 0.79% to 4,172.56.
Three of the eight LJSE blue chips rose and five declined.
Slovenia’s biggest fuel trader, Petrol, was the biggest blue-chip decliner with a 2.2% dive in its average daily price to 314.71 euro in a volume of 66 shares.
Drug maker Krka, a blue-chip heavyweight and the most liquid stock on the LJSE, slid 1.67% to 68.50 euro in a volume of over 12,000 shares, the highest for the day.
Rubber-to-tourism group Sava was the biggest gainer for the day. It added 1.04% to 242.36 euro in a volume of 36 shares.
LJSE's total turnover fell to 1.23 million euro ($1.71 million) from 2.08 million euro on Friday.
