February 4 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose on Monday, as overall daily turnover increased, bourse data indicated.
The SBITOP added 0.89% to 657.06 points after rising 2.04% on Friday.
Five of the seven blue chips of the LJSE closed higher on Monday and two fell.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 2.22% to 53.63 euro ($72.7).
Retailer Mercator [LJE:MELR] led the blue-chip gainers, rising 3.85% to 135.
Home appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the most traded blue chip with 118,158 shares changing hands. The stock lost 1.63% to 4.23 euro.
Total turnover on the LJSE rose to 1.9 million euro from 1.2 million euro on Friday.
