BELGRADE (Serbia), January 24 (SeeNews) – Serbian retailer Mercator-S said it will invest 12 million euro ($15.6 million) to overhaul its Mercator Centar Beograd shopping center in the country's capital.
The 50,000 square meter Mercator Centra Beograd will therefore be closed between May and September, Mercator-S, a unit of Slovenia's Mercator Group, said in a statement.
Mercator Centra Beograd was the first retail unit that Mercator opened in Serbia when it entred the country in 2002.
Mercator-S said it has invested more than 500 million euro so far and provides employment to over 5,000.
