BELGRADE (Serbia), March 20 (SeeNews) – Banca Intesa Beograd, the Serbian unit of Italian lender Intesa Sanpaolo, said its after-tax profit rose 6.4% in 2018 to 12.6 billion dinars ($121 million/107 million euro).
The bank's net interest income came in at 20.5 billion dinars, up 6.4%, while net fee and commission income rose 9.4% to 7.2 billion dinars, according to the annual audited financial statement of the lender posted on its corporate website.
The Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of Banca Intesa Beograd amounted to 19.76% at the end of December 2018, down from 20.77% a year earlier.
The loan portfolio of Banca Intesa Beograd stood at 372.8 billion dinars, while deposits amounted to 455.9 billion dinars at the end of last year.
Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe (SEE), Intesa Sanpaolo is present in Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Romania and Albania.
