November 25 (SeeNews) - Serbian household appliances manufacturer Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] and confectionery group Pionir [BEL:PION] launched talks with Tirana-based diversified group Agna for distribution of their products in Albania, the Serbian chamber of commerce said.
An Albanian-Serbian chamber of commerce started work in Tirana on Thursday as part of efforts to improve economic ties between the two countries, the Serbian chamber of commerce said in a statement on Thursday.

Alfa Plam, based in Vranje, in southern Serbia, focuses on the production of solid, liquid and gas-fuelled heating devices and electric cookers. The company is part of the BELEX15 blue chip index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange. It booked a 22.3% year-on-year decline in net profit to 439.7 million dinars ($3.8 million/3.6 million euro) in the first nine months of 2016.
Belgrade-based chocolate, candy and biscuit maker Pionir is part of Serbian diversified holding company Alco Group. It operates four factories, with the largest segment of production located in Subotica, northern Serbia.
Agna Group is the parent company of an Albanian bottling company, wholesale distributor, advertising firm, merchandiser, constructor and real estate agency. Outside of Albania, it operates in Greece, Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro.
