BELGRADE (Serbia), December 2 (SeeNews) – Serbian share indices extended their modest gains on Wednesday with turnover shrinking to less than one-tenth of the previous session's value, stock exchange data showed.
The Belgrade bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 index ticked up 0.06% to 716.39 points after rising 5.1% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline index edged up 0.68% to 1,371.74 points on Wednesday after advancing 3.5% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna slid 0.76% to 316.06 on Wednesday.
The bourse's total turnover fell to 16.5 million dinars ($259,984 /172,724 euro) from 175.5 million dinars on Tuesday.
Blue chip Agrobanka fell 2.57% to 8,849 dinars in the session's highest turnover of 16.1 million dinars.
In single price trading insurer Takovo Osiguranje posted the day’s second highest turnover of 8.2 million dinars. The share price remained unchanged at 3,100 dinars.
Lender Jubmes Banka posted the biggest gain on Wednesday, with share price soaring 11.11% to 20,000 dinars.
Lender Credy Banka led fallers, dropping 8.87% to 3,235 dinars.
Advancers outnumbered decliners 26 to 24, while the shares of 24 companies ended flat on Wednesday.
