March 4 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 1.06% higher at 940.19 points on Monday, boosted by gains in aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL: IMPL] and industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS], bourse data showed.
Impol added 4.04% to 5,430 dinars in a volume of twenty shares. Messer closed 2.85% higher at 23,964 dinars.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] was the only blue-chip loser on Monday, shedding 0.56% to 894 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 6,532 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 5.2 million dinars. NIS closed 2.30% higher at 799 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index also rose, by 1.06% to 2,053.24 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose slightly to 10.7 million dinars ($98,600/90,900 euro) on Monday from 10 million dinars on Friday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 573,864 dinars of Monday's turnover.
