- Bogdan Lisovolik, permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund mission in Serbia, said the global lender will ask the government in Belgrade to apply balanced measures in a bid to maintain macroeconomic stability amid the crisis.

- Serbia’s Finance Minister Diana Dragutinovic said she has not given up on her proposal to raise to 20% the tax on monthly salaries higher than 40,000 dinars and cut to 10% the tax on salaries lower than that amount in a bid to narrow the budget gap. Serbia’s personal income tax rate now stands at 12%.
