October 25 (SeeNews) - International broadcaster Central European Media Enterprises (CME), which has operations in several southeast European countries, said on Tuesday its consolidated net loss expanded to $201.8 million (219.5 million euro) in the first nine months of 2016, from $103.4 million in the same period last year.
The company’s net revenues increased 5% to $430.9 million in the nine months through September, CME said in a consolidated financial statement for the nine months ended September 30 posted on its website.
CME's operating income jumped 24.9% to $60 million in January-September from $48 million in the same period last year.
The company operates in Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
