November 24 (SeeNews) - Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair will launch a new route from the Bournemouth airport in the UK with flights to the resort of Zadar on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast starting next spring, the Bournemouth airport operator said.
Flights to Zadar start from March 29, 2022 and will operate twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the Bournemouth airport operator said in an announcement published on its website.
In July, Ryanair said it reopened its base in Zadar. Using two base aircraft, with 87 weekly flights to 37 destinations, including 17 new ones, the reopening of the base connected Zadar with numerous destinations throughout Europe.
Tourism is a key industry for the Croatian economy, contributing a fifth of the country's GDP.
