December 21 (SeeNews) - The city of Sibiu, in central Romania, has opened a tender for rehabilitation of its streets, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.
The proposed project will require the procurement of rehabilitation works of eight streets with a total length of 4.41 km, the EBRD said in a press release on Thursday.
The city of Sibiu intends to use the savings of a loan extended by the EBRD in December 2015 to finance the project.
The streets that will be rehabilitated are in Area Turnisor IV, namely Mozaicului, Varului, Zavoi (section II), Neppendorf, Granitului and in Area Gusterita II, namely Bradului, Macazului and Viilor streets.
Work will generally include the reconstruction of the road and pavements as well as the installation of the associated utilities, water and drainage.
Tendering is open to firms from any country and closes on March 7.
