June 3 (SeeNews) - Romania's prime minister Viorica Dancila has appointed Mirela Calugareanu as head of the national fiscal authority, ANAF.
Calugareanu will replace Mihaela Triculescu at the helm of ANAF, according to a decision published in the country's Official Gazette.
Calugareanu led ANAF from July 2017 until March 2018. Earlier, she headed ANAF's general directorate for tax collection.
Triculescu was appointed in January, replacing former finance minister Ionut Misa.
Recently, finance minister Eugen Teodorovici said he was dissatisfied with the management of the institution, in terms of the level of receipts, the auto tax refund and with the poor functioning of the IT system.
