BUCHAREST (Romania), July 23 (SeeNews) – Romania's Ploiesti Shopping City plans to invest over 1 million euro ($1.2 million) in modernizing works, it said on Monday.
Remodeling works on the 2,000 sq m area and the outdoor terrace are to be completed in early autumn, Ploiesti Shopping City said in a press release.
"By modernizing the food area we will strengthen the dominant position of the shopping center," Ploieşti Shopping City manager Irina Rosioru said.
Ploieşti Shopping City is equally owned by real estate investment trust (REIT) New Europe Property Investments Rockcastle (NEPI Rockcastle) and by Property Division, the international retail real-estate expert of the Carrefour Group.
According to NEPI, the shopping center is valued at 90 million euro.
