October 20 (SeeNews) - Nuclearelectrica, the operator of Romania's sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda, said it appointed Valentin Nae as new manager of the power plant.
Nae will replace Dan Bigu, whose employment contract expired after he reached the required retirement age, Nuclearelectrica said in a statement on Monday.
Valentin Nae has 34 years of experience in the nuclear industry. He had been Radiation Control Section manager at Cernavoda, main control room operator, Unit 1 shift supervisor and chief engineer of the process system department, Nuclearelectrica said.
Nuclearelectrica shares traded 0.36% higher at 16.72 lei ($4.03/3.72 euro) by 0920 CET on Tuesday on the BVB.
