October 4 (SeeNews) - Romania's retail sales grew 8.4% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2017, seasonally and working-day adjusted data of the country’s statistical office showed on Wednesday.
In August alone, retail sales rose by an adjusted 12.6% on the year, and were 2.3% higher on the month, the data indicated.
On an unadjusted comparison basis, retail sales rose 9.3% on the year in the first eight months of 2017.
Romania's retail sales increased by 13.5% last year.
