BUCHAREST (Romania), November 22 (SeeNews) – Romanian courier services provider FAN Courier said on Friday that it has bought local logistics operator SLS Cargo.
The deal was completed at the beginning of the month and is now pending approval from Romania's anti-trust authority, FAN Courier said in a press release.

"It is a winning partnership for both parties and not a purchase in itself. Our partner's experience in the freight forwarding market coincides with our objectives of developing the range of services offered to our clients at the quality standards we committed to," FAN Courier managing partner Adrian Mihai said.
SLS Cargo will continue to operate under its own brand and the company's founder Mihai Stoica will continue to be its CEO.
SLS Cargo was founded in 2014 and currently employs 120 in seven offices in Romania and two abroad - In Bulgaria and Italy.
FAN Courier was founded in 1998 by three Romanian entrepreneurs.It has about 50,000 customers, over 6,900 employees and a fleet of some 4,200 vehicles.
