March 17 (SeeNews) - Romania's construction output surged 44.5% year-on-year in January, following a 29.6% rise in December, the country's statistical office, INS, said on Tuesday, citing working-day adjusted data.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly comparison basis, construction production rose 20.8% in January, following a 1.8% drop in December, INS said in a statement.
On an unadjusted basis, Romania's January construction output surged by 40.7% on the month and was 48% higher on the year.
