August 30 (SeeNews) - Romania's competition authority said on Friday it has approved the acquisition of local holding company Rimco, the owner of pastry producer Panovia Prod, by the Romanian subsidiary of German food group Dr. Oetker.
"Following a review of the transaction, the Competition Council has found that it does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition in the market, in particular by establishing or strengthening of dominant position," the anti-trust body said in a statement.
