June 22 (SeeNews) - Romanian online personal styling service The Outfit said on Wednesday it has raised a new seed funding round of 766.000 euro ($809,886), which it plans to use for regional expansion and new hirings.
The round was led by TSG Capital with follow-on investment from previous angel investors and a listing on Seedblink, a platform for tech startup investments, The Outfit said in a press release.
"The funds will be used to fuel our growth in the region, hiring key roles (software, buying, marketing) and also improving the product experience with new categories and shopping features for our customers," The Outfit co-founder and CEO Ciprian Dudulea said.
Including this latest round, the start-up has raised a total of 1 million euro.
Founded in 2020 by local entrepreneurs Ciprian Dudulea, Serban Buliga and Horia Stupu, The Outfit achieved revenues of 805,000 euro and delivered 16,000 orders in Romania during its first year of activity. So far, more than 60,000 women have created their style profile on the platform.
