June 25 (SeeNews) - Spanish hotel chain RIU Hotels&Resorts has opened a third hotel in the Bulgarian seaside destination of Sunny Beach, which is also its seventh in the country, the company said.
The new five-star RIU Palace Sunny Beach, which opened on June 15, features 335 rooms, the company said in a statement last week.
The hotel is part of the adults-only range of the chain.
Some of the other locations in Bulgaria in which RIU operates hotels include Obzor, Pravets and Golden Sands.
Bulgaria's Sunny Beach resort is the most visited seaside resort in the country during the summer season, both by tourists and locals.
Mallorca-based RIU Hotels&Resorts, founded in 1953, currently has 93 hotels in 19 countries. It welcomes over 4 million guests annually and provides jobs for a total of 29,985 employees.
