Radisson Hotel Group, one of the leading hotel groups in the world, is proud to announce the expansion of its Radisson Individuals portfolio in Bulgaria with the signing of Metropolitan Hotel Sofia, a member of Radisson Individuals, set to join in the first quarter of 2022.

The hotel will reinforce Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in Bulgaria’s capital, and will join Imperial Hotel Plovdiv, a member of Radisson Individuals, as the brand’s second hotel in the country. Radisson Individuals is a conversion brand that offers independent hotels and local, regional chains the opportunity to be part of Radisson Hotel Group and benefit from the Group’s international awareness and experience, while maintaining their own uniqueness and identity.

Metropolitan Hotel Sofia, a member of Radisson Individuals will feature 201 rooms and suites, including two Panorama Suites that each span over 100m², four conference halls, and six meeting rooms which can host up to 220 people for meetings and events. The hotel’s facilities include a bar and restaurant also suitable for elegant functions, as well as a wellness facility offering massages and a sauna.

Strategically located in a fast-developing business district, the hotel is a ten-minute drive from Sofia Airport and close to major national and international corporations, as well as the Inter Expo and Congress Center, which boasts 42,000m² of exhibition space. Sofia’s historic city center is 8km away.
