November 8 (SeeNews) - New residential buildings completed in Bulgaria decreased by 6.8% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2021 to 838, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said.
The total usable space of newly built dwellings fell 6.3% on the year in the third quarter to 336,500 sq m, the NSI said in a statement on Friday.
The highest number of residential buildings completed in the period under review, 123, was recorded in Varna, followed by Sofia with 121 dwellings.
Houses represented 75.6% of all new residential buildings completed in the third quarter of 2021.
