February 1 (SeeNews) - Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said its after-tax profit from operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 52 million euro ($56.6 million) last year, up 48.7% compared with 2021.
Bosnia-based Raiffeisen Bank generated an operating income of 130 million euro in 2022, up from 113 million euro in 2021, the parent bank said in an annual financial report on Tuesday.
RBI's net interest income from Bosnian operations came in at 64 million euro in the year under review, up 6.4% on 2021, while net fee and commissions income rose 15.5% to 56 million euro.
General administrative expenses went up 16.5% to 63 million euro in 2022. At the same time, impairment losses on financial assets narrowed to 6 million euro, from 8 million euro a year earlier.
