September 27 (SeeNews) - Hospitality group Radisson said on Tuesday that it will open a new hotel in the Romanian central city of Brasov in October, following an investment of 16.3 million euro ($15.75 million).
The investment overshot initial estimations by 3 million euro, Radisson Group said in a press release.
Radisson Blu Aurum has 110 rooms and an events hall with a capacity of 150 people. It will employ 70 people and owners target a 65% occupancy rate for 2023.
"Brașov is the most visited city in Romania, therefore, the opening of a chain hotel offers the opportunity to increase the level of premium services in the Brasov area," said Anca Cristea, General Manager of Radisson Blu Aurum.
Besides Radisson Aurum Brasov, Radisson group operates three other hotels in Romania, in the cities of Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, according to its website
