November 21 (SeeNews) - Automotive software developer Porsche Engineering Romania, a subsidiary of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH, said on Monday that it has opened a new technology centre in the western city of Timisoara, and plans to hire over 100 next year.
The new office has a total surface area of 2,110 sq m, Porsche Engineering Romania said in a press release.

In 2023, the company aims to employ over 100 developers and software engineers at its two business premises in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara.
"By opening the office in Timisoara, we are taking an important step in the process of consolidation of the presence of Porsche Engineering in Romania", said CTO of Porsche Engineering Group and Chairman of the Shareholders' Committee for Romania, Dirk Lappe.
Porsche opened its engineering centre in the northwestern city of Cluj-Napoca in 2016.
Porsche Engineering Romania is part of Porsche Engineering Group, which employs some 1,600 in Germany, the Czech Republic, Romania, China and Italy.
