January 15 (SeeNews) - Serbian oil company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices rose, bourse data showed.
A total of 507 NIS shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 348,919 dinars. NIS shares closed 0.58% higher at 689 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, closed 0.62% higher at 697.73 points on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, increased by 0.43% to 1,516.12 points.
The total turnover on the bourse jumped to 242.1 million dinars to million dinars ($2.3 million/2.0 million euro) on Tuesday from 9.3 million dinars on Monday, as 77 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 44,655 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 239.5 million dinars to the total turnover.
