August 31 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) lost ground on Wednesday, as Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] paced the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
NLB's shares lost 2.21% and closed at 62 euro on Wednesday, LJSE data showed.
At the other end, chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] lead the risers, with shares advancing 1.46% to 27.80 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index edged down 0.35% to 1,129.73 points, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, lost 0.33% to close at 1,410.63 points.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest single trading turnover on the bourse on Wednesday - of 596,740 euro ($597,200). Its shares closed at 99 euro, up 0.20%.
LJSE's total turnover increased 1.8 million euro on Wednesday from 866,926 euro on Tuesday.
