April 3 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,010 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.9 million dinars. NIS won 0.42% and closed at 725 dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as it won 2.31% and closed at 798 dinars. A total of 433 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 345,320 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.20% to 746.98 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index rose 0.37%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, increased 0.28% on Tuesday and closed at 1,579.35 points, after growing 0.69% on Monday.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue-chip decliners list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as it lost 0.06% and closed at 1,802 dinars. A total of 673 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.2 million dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 6 million dinars ($62,422/50,789 euro) on Tuesday from 5.8 million dinars on Friday, as 287 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 257,010 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 839.7 million dinars to the total turnover of 845.7 million dinars on the bourse.
