December 3 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices edged up, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,077 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 1.3 million dinars. NIS closed up 1.46% at 625 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.63% at 833.64 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.50% at 1,711.37.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 8.47% to 3,600 dinars.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 165.3 million dinars ($1.6 million/1.4 million euro) on Friday, up from 1.4 million dinars on Thursday, as 101 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 399,906 dinars.
In the period between November 29 and December 3, BELEX15 went up 2.62%, while BELEXline grew 1.64%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 3.369 billion dinars, versus 139.1 million dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 3.346 billion dinars this week, up from 105.1 million dinars last week.
