August 6 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,700 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 297,500 dinars. NIS closed down 0.15% at 175 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 3.44% higher at 763.78 points.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price grew 15.89% to 3,478 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, grew 1.82% to 1,581.26.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 2.1 million dinars ($19,952/17,845 euro) on Tuesday, down from Monday's 498.4 million dinars, as 82 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 420,905 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange today.
