September 18 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 7,167 of NIS' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 4.9 million dinars. The company closed up 1.18% at 688 dinars.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, after closing up 3.70% at 140 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.67% to 729.32 points on Tuesday. The index rose 0.13% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.65% to 1,531.57 points on Tuesday, after increasing 0.19% on Monday.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue-chip decliners list on Tuesday, as its share price went down 0.36% to 1,683 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 9.1 million dinars ($89,933/76,912 euro) on Tuesday from 3.4 million dinars on Monday, as 255 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 259,480 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 117.8 million dinars to the total turnover of 126.9 million dinars on the stock exchange.
