April 24 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 3,455 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.5 million dinars. NIS lost 0.28% and closed at 723 dinars.
Industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list, gaining 3.45% to 12,000 dinars. A total of 48 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 576,000 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.26% to 741.91 points on Tuesday. The index rose 0.06% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, increased 0.36% on Tuesday and closed at 1,568.59 points, after decreasing 0.03% on Monday.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] paced the blue-chip decliners list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as it lost 2.86% and closed at 3,400 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 190,400 dinars, as 56 of its shares changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 6.9 million dinars ($71,260/58,390 euro) on Tuesday from 5.7 million dinars on Monday as 266 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 313,219 dinars.
