September 5 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,474 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 3 million dinars. NIS lost 0.30% and closed at 675 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.04% lower at 746.85 points.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 5.0% to 6,300 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.21% to 1,591.89.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 8 million dinars ($75,300/68,000 euro) on Thursday, up from Wednesday's 6.8 million dinars, as 61 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 1 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
