October 21 (SeeNews) - Nestle Bulgaria, part of Swiss food and drink processing conglomerate Nestle, said on Thursday that it has achieved organic growth of 7.4% in the first nine months of 2021.
"Our growth correlates with the growth of the company globally," Petar Stoilov, CEO of Nestle Bulgaria, said in a statement.
The Nestle Group reported 7.6% organic growth in the January-September period of this year.
The product categories of coffee, dairy products, baby food, and pet food contributed most to the performance of Nestle Bulgaria in the review period.
Last year, Nestle Bulgaria invested 23 million levs ($13.7 million/11.8 million euro) in expanding the capacity of its Sofia factory. The factory produces around 500 million wafer bars per year, 95% of which are exported to 35 markets. Some 570 people are employed at the factory.
