August 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's farming company ZK Pelagonija [MSE:ZPKO] said that it made a net profit of 181.6 million denars ($3.5 million/2.9 million euro) in the first half of 2021, after booking a 117.8 million denars net loss in the same period last year.
ZK Pelagonija's total operating revenue surged to 679.1 million denars in the first six months of 2021, compared with 282.1 million denars recorded a year earlier, the company said in a financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse earlier this week.
Domestic sales rose 34% year-on-year to 256.2 million denars in the six months through June, whereas sales from abroad slumped 86% to 4.9 million denars.
The company's operating expenses grew 10% year-on-year to 614.8 million denars in the six months under review.
