August 1 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's retailer of car spare parts, tires, batteries, construction machines and hydraulic hoses Tehnokomerc [MSE:TEHN], closed the first half of 2022 with a net loss of 13 million denars ($215,714/210,836 euro), compared to a net profit of 49.6 million denars reported for the same period last year.
The company's first-half operating revenue came in at 283.8 million denars, down compared with 368 million denars in the January-June period of 2021, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse last week.
Sales on the domestic market fell 19% year on year to 282 million denars, while revenue from sales abroad jumped to 330,000 denars from 31,000 denars in the first half of 2021.
Tehnokomerc's total operating costs amounted to 294.3 million denars in the January-June period, compared with 308.3 million denars in the same period of 2021.
