March 1 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based brewer and soft drinks producer Prilepska Pivarnica [MSE:PPIV] said that its net profit grew 58% year-on-year in 2023, reaching 122.1 million denars ($2.1 million/2 million euro).
Operating revenues rose 14% on the year to 2.1 billion denars in 2023, Prilepska Pivarnica said in an annual financial statement on Thursday.
Revenues from domestic sales went up 13% to 2.05 billion denars, while sales from abroad increased 77% to 26.6 million denars.
The company's operating costs rose 9% year-on-year to 2 billion denars in 2023.
Prilepska Pivarnica was founded in 1924. It produces beer under the trademarks Zlaten Dab and Krali Marko and holds the licences for distributing Tuborg and Carlsberg brands in North Macedonia. It also produces carbonated non-alcoholic drinks, fruit nectar soft drinks and bottles the products of Pepsi Cola International.
Its shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on February 22, at an average price of 33,301 denars.
