May 11 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's oil refinery Okta [MSE:OKTA] said on Thursday it is now proposing to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 218 denars ($3.9/3.5 euro) per share for 2022, after announcing it plans to distribute a gross dividend of 109 denars per share for that year.
Under the new proposal, Okta intends to distribute 184.5 million denars of its accumulated net profit as dividend for 2022, the company said in a bourse filing.
The new proposal will be put to the vote at a meeting of Okta shareholders scheduled for May 30.
Okta paid out a gross dividend of 73 denars per share for 2021.
Okta's net profit grew 44% on the year in 2022, reaching 546 million denars.
Okta shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on April 4 at an average price of 3,400 denars.
