March 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based marble producer Mermeren Kombinat [MSE:MERM] said it booked a net profit of 843.2 million denars ($14.9 million/13.7 million euro) in 2023, down 2% compared with the year before.
The company's sales revenue edged down 4% year-on-year in 2023, to 1.8 billion denars, while costs of goods sold fell 1% to 630 million denars, it said in an annual financial statement last week.
Revenues from the domestic market were 45% higher at 8.8 million denars in 2023, whereas revenues from sales abroad declined 4% on the year to 1.8 billion denars.
Mermeren Kombinat's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on November 13, at an average price of 2,575 denars.
