May 31 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Wednesday that it will pay a gross dividend of 3,300 denars ($57.3/53.7 euro) per share for 2022, higher than the year before, after receiving its shareholders' nod for the payout.
The company will distribute a total of 333.8 million denars as dividend for last year, Makpetrol said in a bourse filing.
Makpetrol distributed a gross dividend of 3,000 denars per share for 2021.
The company booked a net profit of 1.3 billion denars in 2022, down 6% compared with the year before.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred filling stations across North Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
Makpetrol's shares last traded at an average price of 68,000 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on May 29, the latest available bourse data showed.
