April 12 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's confectionery producer Evropa [MSE:EVRO] said on Tuesday it is proposing to shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 50 denars ($0.88/0.81 euro) per share for last year, lower than the dividend payout of 60 denars per share distributed for 2020.
Under the proposal, Evropa will distribute a total of 11.5 million denars as dividend for last year, the company said in a bourse filing.
The proposal will be put to the vote at a shareholders meeting scheduled for May 12.
The company's net profit dropped 24% year-on-year to 63.79 million denars in 2021.
Evropa's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on September 9, when they changed hands at an average price of 2,900 denars, bourse data showed.
