November 25 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia became the 103rd member of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), the government said on Friday.
Within the GFCE's framework, North Macedonia's government, with all the ministries and institutions, will work on issues including managing and safeguarding against cyberattacks and cybercrime, the cabinet said in a press release.
The GFCE's platform for tracking and coordinating projects and activities should strengthen international collaboration and coordination of the government and organisations that work on the cyber issues in North Macedonia.
The GFCE was established during the 2015 Global Conference on Cyber Space in The Hague to strengthen cyber capacity building and coordinate existing international efforts more effectively, according to its website.
