September 9 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's government said on Friday it decided to cap margins for trading on the domestic electricity market at 10% until April 15 next year to prevent disruption amidst an ongoing energy crisis.
The decision should take effect before the start of the heating season, the government said in a statement.
Last month, the government declared a 30-day state of energy crisis due to a shortage in heating energy supply to the city of Skopje and electricity supply across the country.
