March 20 (SeeNews) - Most indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX growing the most, by 0.26% to 811.35 points, bourse data showed.
SOFIX was propelled by diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which went up 2.33% to 0.704 levs, and hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH], which gained 1.90% to 10.70 levs.
The two companies also boosted the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, by 0.15% to 165.53 points. The top performer in the index, however, was online betting operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB], which advanced by 3.21% to 16.10 levs.
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, climbed by 0.09% to 809.67 points on the back of the rises as Chimimport and M+S Hydraulic.
Meanwhile, a 1.94% increase in investment company HR Capital [BUL:HRC] to 2.10 levs spurred on the BEAMX. The index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, added 0.24% to 97.67 points.
In comparison, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, fell by 0.21% to 191.24 points. It was pressed by a 0.76% decline in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.60 levs and a 0.30% slip in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.32 levs.
Telematic Interactive was the most liquid stock of the day, with a turnover of 78,149 levs ($43,369/39,957 euro) after 4,854 shares traded.
Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse slumped to 570,726 levs on Wednesday from 3.36 million levs on Tuesday.
