September 30 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 6.5% year-on-year in August, after increasing by 5.8% a month earlier, official figures showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover rose by a real 12.3% in August, after growing by 15.4% in July, according to data published by the country's statistical office, Monstat.
Calculated in current prices, retail sales grew by 6.4% on the year in August after rising by 6.6% in July.
Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 3.4% in 2018 after rising by 3.3% in the previous year.
